I am concerned with how the living spend their best earthly time these days, not only chasing after the accumulation of wealth but the way they spend what they worked hard for. They spend it recklessly as someone committing 'harakiri'. Billions are spending their entire 24/7 days on empty stomachs and we waste on vain frivolities.
When He asks us one day as he surely is going to call us to account, what shall we say, how shall we fare on those scales of Justice? We shall surely wear our guilt like a gown on our shoulders, put it on our heads like a crown and tie it around our necks like a bracelet. I do not wish you to experience this throughout eternity. This shall surely be our lot if we fail on the honest scales of justice.
Let's feed the hungry, take care of the orphan and the fatherless and defend the dignity and course of the widow.
Let us do this, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Let's do this joyfully while awaiting His second coming.
